David Qu serves as Senior Strategic Advisor at Town Square Health, bringing extensive healthcare leadership to support the organization’s mission of transforming care for Medicare-eligible populations. As an Executive in Residence at MATTER, he advises on strategic initiatives, partnerships, and scaling efforts for coordinated, patient-centered, value-based healthcare.

With over 30 years of global executive experience, David has led strategy, operations, innovation, and partnerships across healthcare and technology sectors. He previously served as senior corporate officer and Global Vice President at Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International, leading business units focused on healthcare quality and patient safety worldwide. His career spans P&L roles at established firms like Allscripts Healthcare Solutions and CEO positions at VC-backed healthcare technology startups, demonstrating capabilities in driving growth and innovation across diverse environments. He also works as an executive coach, board member, and strategic investor supporting health-focused ventures.

David holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Fellow of the American College of Health Data Management (FACHDM), and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
